just a few fun loving folks who enjoy playing with duct tape, and
want to share our fun with you. we've been hand-making delicious
duct tape fashion accessories for over three years and we think
it's the best job in the world. we were the first to make high-quality,
high-fashion duct tape handbags, belts and clutches (except no imitations)!
and we're still the best. everything we make is ENTIRELY duct tape
and accented with functional and decorative ingredients, like snaps,
ribbons, metal handles, and more. we go out of our way to make your
items as durable and 'clean' as possible...that means handcrafted
with only the cleanest lines and no exposed sticky or torn duct
tape edges. that's what makes us different, and we're proud of our

the cat: president this woman is in charge! she wears that cute little cat scarf and she keeps us all in line. where would we be without her? probably napping in bed all day or making sandwiches or riding bikes. darn that responsibility! just kidding. peaches has been around for a while and she's seen it all. she reminds us that good days of sitting in the sun are always just around the corner. return to top |

the cat: pioneer & creative consultant phil represents the curiosity of this duct tape outpost. he's not afraid to stick his head into a toilet or stare down sport from the kitchen or nap through a thunderstorm. he's a big lug, but we love him. he inspires us to take a risk and create bold new designs. he's also the heaviest cat i've ever held. sometimes he likes to hover over the frogs emily drags in while pretending they are his captives. return to top |

the dog: intern sport joined us as an intern a while ago, and he'll probably be in that spot for a while. he's a cute boy-dog, but not the brightest ever. but that's ok because he is a kind companion and always reminds you when the mail man is coming for the daily rounds. peaches the dog (no photo): intern this lady pup is sharp as a tack and a great addition to the team. she's quickly rising to the top, and she brings lots of sunshine every day. return to top |

joy: marketing & everything else when it comes to 70 wallets in a few days, sarah is there. when it comes to critiqueing a new item, sarah is there. when it comes to free food, sarah is there. marketing and pr are sarah's specialty, and her keen eye for deadlines assures every order gets out of the studio on time. sarah likes riding her bike, urban planning, fixing things with tools & iowa. right now she wants warm apple pie a la mode with vanilla ice cream. return to top |

jean: pretending to be in charge vanessa jean has always been a little bit of a free spirit, and she didn't want to "settle down" or get stuck with a "real job" after graduating from college. so, she turned her craftiness and love of duct tape stuff into vanessa jean * duct tape design. it's been great fun and great work and it's allowed her to do a lot of other things while having a "job" for the last three years, like: bike across the country, move 3 times, learn about permaculture, organic farming, & sustainability. she's practicing 'relaxing' because she's not particularly good at it yet. return to top |
